High Tea at the Drake Hotel Chicago
The prestigious 2017 Grand Prix of Real Estate was awarded to Haleola’ili’ainapono (A Living Building Challenge Project) from Honolulu, Hawaii during an elegant afternoon High Tea ceremony in the International Club room at the Drake Hotel. This pioneering project, recognized for its environmental innovation and integration marks the first Living Building Challenge to be recognized by FIABCI-USA.
The Six Grand Prix of Real Estate entrants were all recognized at the tea and they include:

- Brown Jordan Flagship Store, Miami, Florida | Commercial Category
- Flex Homes – MANAWA at Mehana, Kapolei, Hawaii | Residential Low Rise Category
- Haleola’ili’ainapono (A Living Building Challenge Project), Honolulu, Hawaii | Environmental Category
- Manhattanville Campus, Columbia University, New York, NY | Master Plan Category
- Waiea, Honolulu, Hawaii | Residential High Rise Luxury Category
